Hi, I’m Ian. I LOVE all animals, but especially dogs. I’ve looked after most varieties of dogs receiving five star reviews. I only take one dog at a time and I like to make them feel special while they’re in my care. (As I’m retired, I’ve got plenty of time on my hands.) I used to volunteer at the RSPCA centre in Mallydams Wood, Hastings, where I learnt about animal needs. I’ve owned both dogs and cats in my life, but my favourites were Sally (a Springer Spaniel) and Ozzie (a Bengal cat). I had Ozzie for 13 years. I loved that cat and still miss him to this day. I’m used to looking after dogs - friends used to ask me to look after their Labrador and Labradoodle and there was an RSPCA Sprocker Spaniel Puppy help-dog called Honey who used to stay with me. Her owner called me the ‘Dog Father’! Apart from my garden, there’s ‘Tunbridge Wells Common’, including Wellington Rocks where I can walk them.
