Pet care experience
I enjoy spending time around dogs. I am very active (walk, run, hike, etc) and love being outdoors, so your dog will get lots of exercise, if needed. Would like to have a dog of my own, but I'm not in the position to do that just yet. So I thought this would be the best way to get to spend some quality time with dogs. Hopefully, I'll get the chance to meet yours! Experience: I had a dog when I was in college and in my early 20s. I have also taken care of the dogs of some friends and family. So I have lots of experience in dog care. Availability: I work full time Monday through Friday. But I'm usually free after 4 pm. My weekends are usually open. Depending on where you are, I would be able to walk or do a home visit during my lunch breaks.

Many thanks to Ian for being available on Thanksgiving to come over to walk our fur babies while I was working the entire day. We received pictures and the doggies were happy to get outside and so content upon their return to the house. Ian did a great job!! Thanks again!!

Ian was so great to work with during a recent house sitting for my pup! He gladly came over for a meet-and-greet and asked all of the right questions. He made sure to answer any questions I had, as well. During the stay, he sent great photos of my pup and plenty of updates.
Ian was amazing with my dog Bentley. He took the time to get to know his likes, his dislikes, his temperament and tried to cater to the dog as much as possible to make him feel safe and comfortable. He even trained him how to sit and shake (which I have been trying to do for a long time). I don’t think that’s part of the deal but it was a nice added bonus. I will defiantly be booking Ian again in the future.

A typical day
Even though I live in an apartment, there are plenty of places close by to give your dog exercise - there's a small dog park at my complex; greenway across the street; and several parks (Shelley Lake, Lake Lynn, Umstead, and the Art Park) within a 5mi radius. If your dogs enjoys playing with other dogs, there's always dogs at the dog park here.
