Hello, I am Ian Barber, I am a dog lover through and through. I have been involved with dogs for the last 8 continuous years and a proud owner of Maverick for over 4 years. Family and friends have reached out to me to tend to their dogs while they have been away for a day or more.

Ian spoils Sasha with walks, runs, and plenty of love and attention during her stays with him. She clearly enjoys staying with him, which means worry-free travel for me. Appreciate his flexibility on drop off and pick up times. Could not ask for better care for Sasha than what Ian provides!
Ian did a wonderful job handling my hyperactive Visla and not so hyperactive Doberman, and they looked like they had a great time! Great communication throughout. Highly recommend!
The stay over with Ian was our puppies first night away from us. Ian took good care of her and she came home a happy puppy.

A typical day
I currently live an active lifestyle with a goal of running 10 miles per week. My route changes daily. Love to explore Iowa City and Maverick joins me quite a bit. We typically run together a couple times each week. We also enjoy walks along the trails that wind the Iowa River, swimming out a Terry Trueblood, or playing fetch at Riverfront Crossings Park.

I am working full time as a Financial Planner, remotely from home. That doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. I will have availability any time during the week and weekend to watch over your pet.
