Other than food and shelter, love and attention are what animals crave most-and I'm a natural at providing that. I love animals, and no matter how old they are, I still consider them "puppies" or "kitty cats" (in an endearing sense). I miss having a dog in my life-a pet in general-and that's why I'd like to pet sit. I've owned both a dog and a cat (at separate times) and I miss the energy that each animal provides, as well as being able to love and play with them. And walking a dog gives us both exercise, so it's a win-win.
