Pet care experience
I'm relaxed, patient, and I like to play and love (if they're up for it). I grew up with 2-4 dogs and a few cats (strays and rescues), guinea pigs, rats, goats, and the occasional gold fish. Our pets were all considered members of the family and were given as much the run of the house as any kids (once they new the ground rules) and we were able to rehabilitate many abuse cases back to being able to trust and play. I have spent the last decade or so traveling and my current living space doesn't allow pets of any kind so I see this as a way to enjoy making some new animal friends. It's my way of enjoying that part of life and pulling a little change in the process.

Hyrum has been a dear friend to me for 5 years and he is the first person I recommend to spend time with your pets. He loves animals more than humans but beyond being an animal lover, Hyrum is helpful, clean, incredibly smart, kind, and did I mention helpful? This is the kind of guy you would wish to have in your life, especially if it means he is caring for your four-leggeds.

Hyrum was lucky enough to be raised by a mom who loves animals. His best friend growing up was Ninja - an 80lb black lab. After Ninja passed Hyrum's new best friend was Moose - a 90 pound German Shepherd. Like his mom, he treats dogs like humans, like his best friends - talks to them, wrestles with them, races them. They respond to his touch and truly enjoy being with him. When he dog-sits the owners will find their dog recognizes Hyrum when he repeats as their sitter. And perhaps the dog may be a little reluctant to part ways with their new best friend: Hyrum.
