I've been around dogs all of my life. I have raised two loving Shetland Sheepdogs and an American Eskimo throughout the years, as well as caring for friends and family's pooches. My undying love for canines and loyalty I have received from numerous dogs over the years inspired me to become a caretaker: love, respect, and undivided attention for all canines under my supervision. But more relevantly, to understand canine minds in a human world - providing comfort and understanding of your canine's needs. I offer professional boarding despite being a home environment. I've spent years around dog trainers while living in Los Angeles who not only taught me vital understandings of dog behavior, but have also helped me focus my sensitivity and empathy towards living creatures - which in term made me a useful dog boarder. Each dog boarded becomes a part of the household. Tons of kisses and only one dog boarded at a time - kennels and cages are never used (unless there is an emergency). My clean home is set up for the dogs - catering to sensitivity if need be. I spend a significant amount of time observing dogs' bodies is language during boarding not only to make a pooch feel comfortable - but to evolve myself as a business as well. I do provide treats and some toys. Most organic. House has a well kept large yard (5,678 sq ft) designed for dogs. It includes a privacy fence along the entire perimeter of the enclosure (complete with a wooden barrier beneath to prevent digging). Safety is a critical component of my boarding. I do not leave any pooch unattended outdoors. No pesticides are used on property. I am a straightforward person to talk to, so please let me know if your pup requires any special dietary or other health requirements. I am also experienced in dealing with dogs who exhibit separation anxiety. Dogs boarded are not left alone for long durations of time. Meet & Greets are standard practice before boarding to familiarize dogs with my home before the actual boarding date (it's less stress-inducing).
