Pet care experience
Hey there! My name is Hunter and I’d love to help you take care of your pet. Over the course of my life I’ve had three dogs and have cared for dogs, cats, horses, lizards, rodents, and fish. I’ve also worked at multiple rescue centers and have trained several puppies and kittens. I’m a UC Berkeley graduate and am currently taking care of pets full-time while I look for a more serious job in my free time, so I have all the time in the world to look after of your pet. I make meals, do behavior training, go for runs, play games like fetch and tug of war, teach tricks, rub bellies, give fluffy cuddles, and offer specific services for the individual needs of pets and owners.

Hunter is an authentic sweetheart of a human, and a true dog lover. We almost never leave our dogs overnight, but we were visiting Santa Cruz and really wanted a night out…Something about his profile made me feel like he was the real desl, and my intuition served me well. Our dogs had a total blast, went on long hikes in the redwoods, frolicked endlessly, didn’t miss us a bit, and got tons of love and attention. Hunter texted us pix, followed our instructions/requests to the letter, and our dogs came back to us better and happier and with more of a spring in their step than when we left them off! What a lovely human and a perfect dog sitting experience. I feel so lucky to have found this awesome young dog whisperer!

I love playing with dogs, running with dogs and playing games like fetch and tug of war. I live in a house in the redwood forest that’s surrounded by hiking trails, so if you drop off your dog for a walk or an overnight stay, I’ll take them on a lovely walk through a beautiful forest and maybe take them to a dog park too!
