Pet care experience
I volunteered at a local animal shelter (Homeward Pets) for 3 years now and have been trained up to a level 2 dog care provider through their program. I’ve walked and cared for countless dogs at various ages and am responsive to each dog’s needs, especially per their family’s requests. Beyond that I’ve been taking care of dogs for neighbors and friends since I was around 13 years old (currently 27).

Hunter was really sweet with my dog. We were just doing a test run for a few hours and he spent time playing and walking him. Very good communication skills from him on all aspects of pet care.
Thanks Hunter for taking our last minute request and taking care of Lucy. The entire experience with Hunter was pleasant. This was our first time leaving Lucy with anyone and we were at ease after meeting Hunter.
Hunter was super responsive and genuinely enjoyed spending time with our pup Brantley. Brantley is used to be on furniture, sleeping in the bed and being with his human 24/7 and Hunter made all that possible fir him while we were away. He played with him and walked him daily and gave us several photos and updates throughout our trip. Will absolutely use him again next time we are out of town!
Juniper had a great time! This was our first trip without the pup and loved all the updates Hunter sent throughout the week to see what they were up to. We’ll definitely book with him again.

I’m a very responsible and caring person who loves to care for dogs. I live alone in a 2-bed row house in NW DC that has a backyard with space for potty breaks and do have a car. Throughout the day I will go on 1-2 mile walks (or more if they have the energy/need!) with your dog(s).

I work from home full time M-F but have gaps to take your dog on a walk or play in the back yard. I love to go on walks or hikes with dogs after work or on the weekends.
