Whether I am doing drop-ins or house sitting, I follow your pet’s usual schedule as much as possible so the transition isn’t as hard for them while you’re gone. I try to learn as much as I can about them from you before I start - this includes knowing a usual day for them, any medications they need, their usual behavior (energy levels, quirks, things they like and don’t like), and their overall personality. If I am less experienced with your pet friend, be it any special needs they may have or being a species I haven’t cared for before, I will always be upfront about it and will do research on my own before asking you what they need from me and how I can best care for them.

Regardless of what service you choose, I ensure that your pet is not lonely and is feeling just as loved with me as they feel with you. Walks or runs would be done only in your neighborhood, and as an active person I am not afraid to be outside for long periods of time. Every pet needs something different to be happy and I will make sure yours receives the care they deserve, whether this includes lots of play time, plenty of petting sessions, or just a presence in the room so they feel a little less lonely.
