Loving Couple that Loves Dogs!
Pet care experience
We are a retired couple in our fifties who love dogs. We treat all of are guests like family. They go on plenty of walks and are given full run of the house. There is usually at least one person at home while your pet is here. We also offer Doggie Day-Care, Drop-in Visits and Overnight Stays with your dog. We also follow your rules so there is no confusion for your puppy. Pictures and a daily report are sent every night! We have been with Rover now for eight years and have many repeat clients. We are glad to give references. We are The Dog Sitters giving love and attention to one dog at a time.

My dog Peter is in hospice. He is stage 4 kidney disease. That is the bad part. The good part is he is happy enjoying the end of his novel free from pain. To keep Peter happy, it's a lot of work frankly. Lots of medications and Sub Q fluids (Fluids are administered through a small needle inserted into the skin between Pete's shoulder blades) to flush out his failing kidney every day. That is where Howie comes in. I travel quite frequently, and it has become increasingly difficult for my 83-year-old father to give Pete the Sub Q fluids because he does not really enjoy the treatment. Howie is so kind, gentle and loving with Pete and provides him with his treatment any time i am out of town. I honestly do not know what I would (or my entire family) would do without his help. I am so lucky to have found him as it is not easy finding someone with the experience that Howie has with ailing fur babies.
Howie did a great job taking care of our dog last week. Professional, caring, responsive. Seems like our dog had a great time there, and I heard from Howie every day with a photo of our pup at dinner time.
As always Howie was great with our Maise. Maise loves to see Howie- obviously makes us very happy!
Howie is the absolute best!

We do not have a fenced in yard. Your "pup" will go on four to six walks a day depending on the weather and your "pups' needs. None of our "pups" are allowed out of our house without a leash. For safety and liability purposes when going on walks our guests are not allowed to interact with other dogs that we might meet on our walks.

A typical day
A typical day consists of getting up early (around 6:30 am). We will go outside and let our guest do "their business". Then breakfast. After breakfast, we will do our first walk of the morning. After that we follow the schedule that you have told us about.

We are retired. Watching your "pup" is our full-time job! Your "pup" will almost never be alone! Your “pup” becomes a part of the family. We will love your “pup” as if they were our own.
