Pet care experience
I am a professional ballet dancer and pet care provider, and a total cat lady! I grew up in a busy home with lots of pets, so I can honestly say I'm as happy to see some of these dogs than they are to get to see me! I'm short, but I can run just as fast as your greyhound! (ok, maybe not your greyhound but...) So, bring on the big, high energy pups! I like to say that a busy dog is a happy dog, and I believe in play and exercise as the best way to form a bond with a furry friend. I can also take care of your cats and other pets- I worked with a pet store in the rodents department for two years and also worked in reptile and fish departments on occasion. My two pet rats will tell you- small critters and I get along splendidly! I like good dogs, and I cannot lie.

My clients can choose to have me living in the home with their pets, so that overnight care can occur, or they can book me for a three-a-day visit schedule. Caring for your plants and bringing in your mail, turning lights on and off, and other basic household functions are always included, just leave detailed instructions and it will get done. I believe that affection and attention are key in preventing separation anxiety, and I make every effort to bond with the animals in my care. For this reason, overnight stays are my preferred option, especially for young animals and those with health or behavior challenges.

I grew up with poodles, but I really love all types of dogs. With long hair or silky haired pups, you can count of me to have coat care under control! It's important for me to know what a dog likes and especially what they strongly dislike before I meet them, and it also helps to know about their general potty habits
A typical day
We can run, play fetch, sit on the grass and sniff things... whatever your dog enjoys. If you need a young pup to be all tired out, I can make sure they burn off their extra energy with tons of play. And I give great belly rubs!

Availability
As a professional ballerina, I am at the studio rehearsing for four hours in the morning, and four in the evening, with a nice two hour break in between. I love how I start a little later in the morning, so on cold days your pup can get a walk in after the sun has come up and made things warmer. And my generous midday lunch break gives plenty of time for play and potty breaks. In the summer, it’s still light out when I get back, so we can fetch a third outdoor play session!
