Pet care experience
Howdy, y'all! I am a graduate from Texas A&M with a behavior degree, and working with animals is what I love. I frequently walk multiple dogs at once, have experience training obedience, loose-leash walking, and canine good citizen preparation, worked as a dog bather and grooming assistant, and have worked with a variety of dog breeds and a few other species, like cats, sugar gliders, and even birds, amphibians, and reptiles. My husband and I have 2 fur babies ourselves, so I understand the importance of having someone trustworthy and who really cares watching your pets. I really enjoy helping people and their pets, and love getting to meet all the different personalities out there. Bonus points: we live on post here at Fort Polk, and I'm permitted to work here on post, too.

Hope Carroll is a great dog lover! In addition to raising and training many of her own dogs, she has, on numerous occasions, cared for my family's pets while she was still living in Elgin. She is patient and kind with all animals, and very knowledgeable. In addition, Hope is one of the most responsible people I have ever known. She is a joy, and truly loves caring for animals. I would hire her again in an instant.... if only she still lived here!
I'm a dog lover. I love dogs, and when I found myself with 3 big dogs (60+ lbs.) and 2 little ones (<25 lbs.) and 2 cats, traveling became a problem UNTIL I got to know Hope Carroll. At the earliest, she was a neighbor and junior English student and later she was a college graduate and friend. Over a 7 year period she pet-sat for me dozens of times. She is reliable, trustworthy, honest and she is a DOG LOVER, too. My furry family always welcomed me home and they always welcomed Hope at our door--never a trauma or a modicum of resistance. They knew they would be fed on time, walked on a regular schedule and cared for as if Mom were still home. Hope Carroll has my most sincere thanks and my heartiest recommendation. Maggie, Andy, Charlie, Daisy, FancyPants, Duffy, and Suzicat and Cesar all recommend her, too!
