Pet care experience
What started out as a hobby has largely become one of the most joyful and enjoyable things I get to do as part of my regular routine. First I watched one friend's pup, then another, and then another, soon enough I had booked most of the summer and most major holidays. I am full time student and artist who loves to cook, read, snuggle on the couch watching great movies and television, play at the park, spend time in nature soaking up the sun's delicious (Vitamin D creating) rays. I enjoy spending time with my friends and their pets and I love to take pictures and share them with you. Portraits are my favorite way to capture my time with the furry ones. Always have, Hope

Hope was wonderful! Such a relief to leave our pups in good hands during a longer trip. She was communicative, sent photos and updates, and took wonderful care of our dogs & home while we were away. At first when working with a new pet I am very aware of the stress and anxiety that can come to changes in routine and environment. I aim understand their normal day to day lifestyle with the owners and do my best to replicate it in their absence. Typically my first couple of hours I'll stay off my phone or other devices to be fully present and connect to establish trust and comfort in the home. With dogs I am especially conscious of training not to pull the leash on walks and to stay vigilant when crossing paths with other animals.

Because I aim to be a comforting presence in your home I like to know what a typical daily routine looks like so that I may replicate that while the owner(s) are away. Morning feeding, walk and cuddles. What kinds of toys they prefer over others. Treats? How often and tied to what behaviors? Do they talk a lot? I know some very talkative cats, not just dogs. Regular movements, any consistency things I should be on alert for or aware of. Afternoon schedule. PM feeding ritual. Other walks, etc.
A typical day
I love to explore new neighborhoods and what better way than with a leashed friend! I make sure to have plenty of poo bags (I know several animals that will make more than one movement on a walk) and be sure to let them check all the pee-mail they are curious about. Mostly the schedule varies due to the routine of pet I am watching.

I work for myself. Aspects of what I do include project management, event production, performance (I have been a circus artist since the age of 10), and coaching (mostly yoga and meditation and their ripple effect throughout life). My schedule shifts day to day depending on my projects making my ability to mold to your pets needs seamless.
