We've been using DogBuddy regularly for 2 years now and have absolutely loved meeting lots of new doggies! We're are a young couple with no kids or pets and we live in a small house with a garden (we tend to only accept small/medium dogs as we've had large dogs before and our place just isn't big enough really). We've both grown up with dogs and other pets in our families. We'd love to get a dog ourselves someday but for now, we're happy just sitting for people! We're both full-time employed but Chris has a work-from-home job which means we're fairly flexible on drop-off and pick-up times. As we both work Mon-Fri, we're mostly available for weekend or evening dog walking and sitting.

Baxter and Murphy stayed with Holly whilst we went to a wedding. We picked them up next morning and both were happy and relaxed, and had obviously had a lovely time. Thank you Holly x

Holly looked after our two dogs, Cassie, 4 months, and 9 year old Lulu. Both dogs were very well looked after, happy, relaxed, and although I was a little worried that Cassie is not yet fully housetrained, and despite a couple of accidents,(oops), Holly reassured not to worry, and would look after them again. So smiles all round.

We do have a preference for small/medium dogs generally and we only normally take bookings of large dogs from owners we already know as our indoor space is quite small and energetic large dogs can be rather overwhelming.
A typical day
For shorter walks, we often walk down to a small field near Waverley Prep School. However, we often enjoy popping our visitors in the car for a quick trip to Rook's Nest or California Country Park as well as it's a lot more interesting for the dogs to sniff about! We have a few toys in the house and a large supply of tennis balls (though dogs are welcome to bring their own toys!) and enjoy playing with dogs throughout the day out in the garden or inside.
