I am a retired elementary/ special needs teacher who has always had a dog in my care, until recently. I have had pure-breds...St. Bernards, poodles, pugs, retrievers...as well as rescue dogs that were of mixed heritage. I have loved them all. I would PREFER TO CARE FOR YOUR PET IN YOUR HOME. I do not have a fenced-in yard. Recently, I have been helping care for the golden retriever living close to me, as her owner worked through health issues. She is in the process of being certified as a therapy dog- and we practice. I would love to meet your pet - and I enjoy keeping fit, going to the gym, and walking the trails in the local park. It would be fun to continue my outdoor activities and include your dog! I could help housebreak a puppy, teach or reinforce leash manners, work on basic commands, keep your fur baby company, or whatever you feel is important. I will only care for one pet at a time, unless one or more are bonded and from the same family. I can come....sit.... and stay when you need assistance!
