Hey, ya'll! My name is Holly K., I am 24 years old and a graduate of Appalachian State. I have such a passion for caring for dogs (and cats). I have many years of pet-sitting experience and two years of professional doggy daycare and boarding experience. I was responsible for overseeing the dogs in the play area, feeding time, and dog groomings while at the boarding company I worked for. I adopted my first dog back in 2019 and fell in love with training and caring for dogs. I would love to run a dog rescue one day! I would love the opportunity to hang out with your dog and give them some love while you're away! If interested, I can give your dog(s) a complimentary bath or grooming during their stay with me.

Holly loves animals with her whole heart. She gives our dog, Lucy, the extra attention she deserves and always pampers her coat, nails and even treats her elbows. Her own dog, Bear, is the luckiest dog on the planet and I think he knows it! She's very responsible and an excellent caregiver for dogs.

I have a large 6-foot privacy fence with about a 3,000+ sq ft yard. I also have a doggy door that can be used or closed if needed. My dog loves to play fetch and run around the yard. My dog tends to only use the doggy door to go outside if he needs to potty or I am out there. He likes to be with his humans. My dog is also very submissive when he plays and responds very well to the cues of other dogs. I do have a large crate available if needed. My cat does her own thing and is not afraid of dogs. However, my dog is an Austrian Shepard and sometimes will try and herd her. My kitty just runs to her cat tree.

A typical day
With my job, I get in free at the Palmetto Island County Park and love to take full advantage of that with my pups and the other dogs I watch. All the trails and fields to run around on are amazing. Fetch in the backyard and walks around the neighborhood are always an option too!

Availability
I currently work as a captain/first mate on tour boats that run out of downtown Charleston. During the slow season, November-March, I have a lot of time on my hands. Plenty of available time to care for your pets!
