We are a dog loving family with a large 6' privacy fenced yard looking to host obedient, fun loving dogs. Someone is usually home to care for your dog and their needs. We live near several local parks. While you are away, your dog will be cared for in a single family home with a loving 10.5 year old Lab/Hound in a family of 3. We do have adults and a special needs teen, but not young children. We can help reinforce training of good habits. We believe in rewarding good behavior and working to eliminate issues positively. Our home can provide a medium crate so you don't have to bring one! But do bring your dog's favorite treats, toys and food. We happily provide bowls and leashes! We will crate if wanted/needed and allow freedom of the main areas. You can receive regular updates or check in with us. We live in an area with parks, trails, and nearby dog parks if you would want your dog to go somewhere for a walk or playtime. They have regular access to the large fenced backyard and a large gated deck that many like to hang out on. Send us your request with dates and information. After a meet and greet in a neutral location to talk and meet, we can then host your dog(s). Another awesome option is for your dog(s) or cat to stay home and have me stay with them! We would like to hear from you! About this sitter: I enjoy time my husband, children, walking my dog, various animals and hobbies like quilting, fish, and gardening. Currently am working part time as lead support in programming facilitating an at risk teen recreation program. When home my 19 year old dog loving daughter, Julia, can assist in some dog care both in my home and your home. Why I love dog sitting: Since growing up I have almost always had a dog... And/or a cat, parrots, snake, gerbils, fish, rabbits, chickens, and other animals. It's rewarding to hear that dogs go home and sleep for 3 days after enjoying their time here. I've had a few refuse to leave and a few bolt into my house in excitement because they KNOW they are here for their vacation. About my yard We have a large 6' foot privacy fenced back yard that has a digging area, raised garden beds, a deck, trampoline, a fort with room to run, chase and sun bathe. My experience administering medication I am willing to give most medications like flea and tick, ointments or pills. This can be discussed further.
