Experienced ER Veterinary Tech

Pet care experience

Hello! I have 13 years of experience in the veterinary field, starting my career at age 13! I began my journey as a kennel technician and soon worked my way up, working in general medicine for about 5 years. I quickly discovered a love for emergency and critical care medicine, working in the field for the last 8 years. Most recently, I managed and trained a staff of over 20 technicians, and am now in the process of opening a veterinary urgent care hospital! My extensive history in the veterinary field has given me the skills to responsibly keep your pet safe, happy, and healthy at all times. I take the safety and health of pets very seriously and am confident that I will provide the best care possible for your babies! As you can see, I am around animals every day and treat them all as my own fuzzy kids.. I wouldn’t have it any other way!!

We began using Holly's overnight dog sitting services through the app, and then booked her outside of the app once we had a good experience with her on the first booking. That was a big mistake. On the second booking, we noticed the dogs seemed super distressed, to the point of having red eyes, after we returned. We figured that wasn't necessarily outside of the norm for our dogs, who are generally anxious when alone, especially if there had been a lot going on outside that day (i.e., a lot of excitement out the window). The third booking, however, we returned home to a house full of dried pee stains, dogs that smelled like urine, who were clearly distressed. This after Holly has barely communicated with us while we were away. I tried to contact her and ask about this and never received a response. Today I found out from our neighbor that he knew any time we were away because our dogs would howl the whole night in distress. That was the final straw for me. Completely unprofessional and unethical behavior. Do not book her - I found a much better sitter, on this site, who actually does the service she is hired to do and genuinely cares about the well being of the animals under her care. I cannot say the same for Holly.

I was very satisfied with Holly's services. She is very friendly and had good communication with me. I felt very comfortable leaving my pet in her care. She is capable, responsible, and has a lot of experience with different animals. I would definitely recommend Holly and will use her again.

Holly has been a vet tech since she was 15, working at and with our veterinarian, as well as emergency vet clinics. She has seen it all. She's participated in surgeries, and crafted wellness plans for dogs, cats, and horses. Currently studying Animal Sciences and Biology at University of Maryland, she is not only in tune with the physical needs of the animal, but the emotional needs as well. Having Holly oversee the wellness of our 3 Mastiffs when we're not home gives us incredible peace of mind because it's like having a family member and a vet all rolled into one taking care of our fuzzy kids. They get the best when we're home, and with Holly, they get the best even when we're away. I emphatically recommend Holly to anyone considering the possibility of putting their four-legged best friends into her care. You can go on vacation, business trip, etc. and feel confident that your pets are cared for, loved, and adored just like you would expect.
