Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner myself for 20 years, and have been sitting on and off for many years as well. Professionally, I have been sitting since 2018. I have experience with elderly and special needs animals. I also have experience with pets other than dogs and cats, such as chickens, birds, small mammals (guinea pigs, rabbits, rodents, etc.), fish, and some knowledge of reptile husbandry. I am trained in animal first aid and I am comfortable taking your pet to the vet if anything should happen. My hours are super flexible. As of now, I am free all day for your pets, including evenings. I love walks, and am available for daily walks. I am eager to get my paws dirty! I have worked with dog aggressive dogs, special needs animals, and animals of all sizes. I have experience with dogs who have been sick or injured during a stay, and I’m well-versed in sick cats as well. I have experience sitting multiple animals at a time (my highest number has been 14 animals) and I can handle large dogs, and multiple large dogs, at one time. Excited to meet your furry friends!
Reviews
She was outstanding. We wish she was closer so we could book her more often.
Holly was great with our dog and our sons dog too! Great communication
Holly always does such an amazing job with my critters! They love her visits and I get the best pictures from her check-ins. As a previous vet tech and pet sitter, I cannot reccomend her enough!

I try to keep animals on the schedule they would be on if their owners were home. If they get fed or walked at a certain time, I do my best to keep that time so there's no harsh transition on them while you're out of the home. I want them to feel as comfortable in their own home as possible.
Information Holly A. would like to know about your pet
I don't have any breed preferences; any and all dogs are fine by me! As mentioned in my profile, I have experience with dogs of all sizes; from 3 pound chihuahuas to 200+ pound St. Bernards, I love them all! Some things that would be good for me to know are the basics: Is your pup a flight risk? Are they a puller when we're walking? Do they have any triggers that will scare them or make them bolt when we're outside? What are their favorite toys? Any information you can give me on what your dog is like day-to-day can help make a sit a comfortable and easy transition on your furry friend! I also ask that you let your vet know that you'll be out of town. It saves a step, should anything happen, of the vet calling to ask permission. I will, of course, contact you first before making any decisions on your behalf.
A typical day
When going on walks, I like to go where the dog wants to go. I let them lead the way and I watch their body language to see when they're starting to get tired so we can turn around and head home. I love playing with dogs and cats and am willing to tire them out to work out any extra energy!

My schedule every week is set around what pet care I'm doing for that week. If I'm staying with your pet, I try to make my schedule fit around that stay so there's no conflict of me leaving and coming back.
