Hollie was great! This was our dog's second stay and he enjoyed lots of play time. She is very knowledgeable about dogs. Highly recommend!

I'm so grateful to have found Hollie! She and her family take amazing care of the dogs, along with daily updates and photos. Leaving our 8 year old Aussie/terrier mix, who is a bit anxious, in Hollie's care gave me tremendous peace of mind. Hollie loves dogs so very much and takes each of their personalities to heart, she is a true professional. I highly recommend Hollie as a trusted dog sitter!

The Barkmore House

As a professor, currently teaching only one course online, Hollie is at home, dogsitting 24/7. Joe isn't as lucky, and he has to leave each day to run a department at a large university in Raleigh. Poor Joe. Hollie has a lot more fun!

Together, we use our 30 years of experience caring for dogs to provide quality care for both overnight and occasional doggy daycare in our home.

We offer a loving home ...

What Hollie would like to know about your dog

We love all breeds of dogs. I want to know as much as I can about the dog so I can watch for changes, and I need to know if a dog is aggressive (we cannot not accommodate aggressive dogs). Guests must be on a flea preventative, be up-to-date on their shots, including the bordetella, and have a current rabies tag with them during their stay. We have a strong preference for the intranasal bordetella vaccine and we ask our regular guests to get it every 6 months.
