I am currently approaching my third year at VCU and have been doing routine dog walking for some family friends the entire time I’ve been enrolled. I have built my schedules while having time for pet care and taking walks in mind.

My ability to read the personality and cues of pets is quite good and I use that to my advantage when coming into their space and interacting with them. I also have experienced multiple scenarios where I needed to protect my dog walking dog from someone else’s off leash pet, and have been able to do so while de-escalating the situation.
