Pet care experience
I've been an avid dog person for decades. My dogs have been beloved family members who've been spoiled rotten. I have past veterinary clinic experience, skills with medications, and if they want exercise, I love to walk. My most recent baby, a pit bull, lived to be 16, the previous one, made it 15 years. I will definitely fall in love with your dog. I have all day for pampering. I have done many rescues over the years. My husband will be glad to assist with my charges. I consider care of your dog to be my one priority; I do not warehouse them. They are honored guests and my aim is to make sure that your baby is as happy with his stay as you are with your vacation. I lavish them with affection and attention. While they are here, my husband and I consider them to be ours.

My dog and cat were pampered the entire time I was gone. Hillary was also able to work around a change in schedule and new medication and diet instructions last minute. I'm grateful that they were in such good hands while I was away.
Hillary was so good to our dog while we were out on vacation for a week. She treated our dog with so much love and spoiled her just like we do at home. Definitely gave us peace of mind while traveling. We’ll definitely book with her again!
As always, our Daisy-dogs stay at Hillary’s was amazing. She comes home happy and exhausted in a good way. She loves the love and attention that they give her and is always super happy to go back each time. Hillary is our go to!

Most of the dogs I have owned have been pit bulls. I am a great advocate of the breed. They are the sweetest, most people loving creatures, so long as they are nurtured with love. However, in veterinary work, and with friends' dogs, I have found that I love all dogs in all sizes and shapes, and they love me! I have cats, but they have been with dogs here their whole lives, and I think they regard dogs as goofy cats. So long as a dog hasn't got a problem with cats, they don't mind the dog.
A typical day
I live in a small neighborhood with tree-lined streets. It's perfect for a walk, very little traffic. Walks are so much more enjoyable with dogs! My large yard is unfenced and well-shaded, so there is a great environment for playing, ball or whatever my babies like! Inside, I like for dogs to be near for long chats while I do whatever; I think they understand far more than we realize. There will be no shortage of affection--I love dog kisses, hugs, belly rubs, massages, ear scratches, etc.
