I loved my first pet, Bear, for 15 years. During the last few years of his healthy life, my life was all about him. His needs came before mine-always. Everyone made comments that Bear had a better life than they did. 2 years after his passing, I got Luna. Actually, it feels like Bear sent Luna to me. Aside from having over a decade of experience with a dog, I use to volunteer at animal shelters with cats as well. My happiness stems from being able to show love, especially to my animals, and I would be honored to show your pets tons of love too.

Hillary is extremely sweet, friendly, and patient. Not only is she very responsible, but she is one of the kindest pet owners I know. Some may even say she's a dog whisperer from the way they all just gravitate towards her. As a dog owner herself, she truly understands the importance of following a daily routine and creating a safe environment for all pets and pet owners. My 1 year old golden retriever can be a handful sometimes but he absolutely loves her and I always feel safe leaving him in her care when I am away. I would never hesitate to recommend Hillary as a pet caregiver and I truly believe you won't find someone more fit to care for your loved ones!

Luna generally roams free in the apartment while I work in the kitchen. I crate Luna when I go to the gym for 2 hours or if I have something out that I don’t want her to accidentally destroy & I’m unable to be in the same room during that time. My complex has a gated outdoor area where I can safely take the dogs to pee. It is also a safe block to take the dogs for a stroll as well. In a client’s home, I’d follow all the rules the client’s have for both the dogs and their home. I’d also make sure to clean up after myself and the dogs. I take pride in respecting others’ property. Taking photos/videos is a give in when watching your pets since I would want photo updates of my baby girl too.

Please let me know of any allergies your pet may have and what types of treats they like or dislike (hard/soft). If they have a strict schedule as to feeding or potty, please share as I would like to keep their day as similar as possible to their routine. If they are reactive to strangers, children, and other dogs on walks would also be very helpful so I can alert people who may want to pet them. Feel free to share any tips that you like to do for your dog so that I can make them feel extra special and loved while you’re away. (Especially with where they like to receive scratches or belly rubs)
A typical day
We’ll start our day with a nice walk & if you’re okay with it, I’d take them to Downtown Bellevue Park to socialize with other dogs while on their leash. I have plenty of treats to practice any tricks they know or I can try my hand at teaching them something new! Luna would be thrilled to play with another dog in the apartment so lots of playtime to be had when it’s too cold or raining too hard.

Availability
I work remotely so I can be flexible as long as Luna can come along on dog walks or house sittings. I am available weekdays and weekends. I am also open to boarding as well, but I’d like to start off with dog walks or house sitting first.
