My first job was at a small, "mom and pop" feed store. I worked there for 7 years. In that time I worked with dogs, cats, a variety of small animals such as hedgehogs, ferrets, guinea pigs, small parrots, rats and several others, reptiles and both saltwater and freahwater fish and invertebrates in a very hands-on atmosphere. I have attended several types of pet nutrition and care seminars. I firmly believe that pets are family, and will treat them as such. I'm currently available full-time. I'm also very familiar with other animals so if you have other pets or critters that need tending while you're gone, I am comfortable feeding and handling just about anything, from rodents to spiders and snakes with only a minor adjustment to fees. My only limiting factor is that I am a rather small person. For this reason I should work with and walk smaller dogs (preferably under 50lbs). I will make exceptions for well leash-trained larger dogs or older large dogs with less energy. For references or questions, please contact me.
