I live with my husband and 140lb great pyrenees Gunner in a very chill eastlake neighborhood. Our condo is on the ground floor with only 5 steps onto our porch, making it easy on even older dogs. Terry Pettus Park and pier is a 2 minute walk away, and a wonderful hangout spot for dogs. There is a lot of shade and piddle spots around here- which makes my neighborhood a perfect walk for any dog even on sunnier days. I have years of experience dog-sitting back in Texas, and even helped train a few dogs that previously had not known simple commands. I love dogs, and any dog who comes to my home will be hung out with and pampered as much as my own pooch. My dog is known at the dog lounge as 'the gentle giant'- as that is really what he is. If for whatever reason your dog does not take a shine to my fella, he can lounge in another room while your pup is here. I hope they can meet and like hanging with each other though! :) Gunner tends to love every dog, but not all dogs know what to do with a big boy. We're a 2 minute walk from the 70 bus, so if your work is downtown we're an easy stop! :) Unfortunately I can't take dogs that are not house trained. Too much carpet in my house! :) I also can't take dogs who are 'runners'- prone to running away through open doors. I am on the ground floor.
