I appreciated that Hilary agreed to sit for me last minute as my travel plans changed due to flight cancelation. I hire house sitters because I have a dog with anxiety and have a notebook with details. She said she works 7am to 1 but was available to house sit the rest of the time.. She showed up and only stayed 1 hour on the first evening, didn't walk my dog, left again a few hours and came back to spend the night. The following day we had a power outage. I was in contact with her and let her know that PGE was going to turn on the power that evening. After work, she checked on my dog for 30 min, no walk ( I have cameras outside) and left. I contacted her again to find out when she was going to return, my dog had been alone all day except for her drop in check and it was way past dinner time. She said that she would check on him again but not stay the night as agreed. She was rude and did not care about my dog . I have never experienced this with any service provider from Rover and would not recommend this sitter to anyone.

I was worried about my dog on the first day because she left her at home for a few hours by herself at night. And her communication wasn’t great for me. After I clarified my wish to receive a few photos of my dog per day and to know how she is doing, our communication got better.
