A little bit about me! I recently moved to Austin! I have a background in veterinary medicine, animal science, animal behavior, and I am CPR certified. I have worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician for the past 5 years. I currently work per diem for local clinics who need additional help. My job duties include caring for sick patients, administering medications, helping with animal rehabilitation, and ensuring the patients are cared for to the best of my ability. I have been an experienced animal caretaker for 8 years now, and I have been pet sitting for 6! I am a strong believer in positive reinforcement training, and I’m also certified in “fear-free” behavior training. This means I will go out of my way to make sure any pet I am working with is comfortable and secure with my presence prior to walking or petsitting them. This always involves a meet and greet before booking! I currently have three dogs of my own. One of which is a hospice case. I am extremely comfortable working with medically challenged pets. My senior dog needs medication and special care daily, so I am completely comfortable and confident in administering medications, or giving treatments to your pets if needed. AVAILABILITY: I work per diem right now so my schedule is very flexible. Due to my work schedule I am available weekends and nights, as well as daytime care! I am a high maintenance dog mom myself, so I understand wanting the best possible care for your four - legged babies!
