This review is SO VERY overdue; sorry Hilary! Hilary was absolutely wonderful and kind and easy to communicate with. We especially appreciated her approach to working with us on arranging our details with a flexibility and a calming, confident manner - which to me is almost as important as the care given to our beloved pup, Goose - we felt as comfortable leaving Goose for the first time with a stranger as we possibly could. Hilary also impressed me with her breed knowledge and puppy training tricks; her experience showed and her professionalism was undeniable. If / when we need another weekend sitter for Goose we will reach out to Hilary first and always. The ONLY reason this is a four star review instead of a five star review is that a couple of his expensive collars and little toys were either missing or had fallen victim to a crazy curious puppy compelled to destroy / chew anything he could find when someone wasn’t looking for a second. That was simply just a bummer that we had to replace some important items. HOWEVER, I must reiterate that the prize was without a doubt Hilary’s compassion and attentiveness and professionalism displayed for both Goose and his nervous parents! I would / do highly recommend Hilary V. to any and all Rover parents seeking exceptional boarding experiences!

Hilary is a true professional. She is incredibly thoughtful and conscientious when it comes to caring for your dog, and knows so much about dogs, their behaviors, best practices for introductions, etc. Unlike some Rover sitters I’ve used who more or less expect you to hand over your dog to them and leave without much conversation, Hilary invites you in to discuss things and is very in tune with your dogs profile, needs, regimen, etc. She’s also a great problem solver and cares deeply about ensuring that both YOU and your dog are comfortable. We hit the jackpot with Hilary and will definitely be using her again in the future. Thanks Hilary!
