Pet care experience
*Drop-ins and Walks in central Lafayette ONLY* House sitting distance at my discretion. Dogs truly are man's best friend. They are our family. With patience, understanding, love, and a sense of humor, all dogs can be great companions and friends. I love playing fetch, tug of war, belly rubs, and hanging out with furbabies. I'm that person that makes friends with the dog at a party first. I have been a Rover sitter for over three years, and I have a number of repeat clients. I value and love each of them and treat them as my own. I've even been called "The Godmother" by the neighbors. Please feel free to message me with questions or inquiries about a future stay, drop in, or walk. Please have an ideal meeting day and time for a Meet & Greet. *I will not sit, drop in, or walk a dog that I haven't met.*
Reviews
Another great experience with Hilary! She was with our cats and dogs for over two weeks while we were on vacation. I honestly don’t even worry when she’s watching them which is such a relief when you’re on vacation trying to have a good time. Highly recommend.
I’m sorry for leaving this review so late because Hilary really went beyond what I could have ever asked. We had a family emergency and I had to leave unexpectedly in a rush. Not only was she available at the last minute, but I came home to a kitchen that had been cleaned (I left with it a mess!!!) she is so kind. Love you Hilary ?
Hillary did just as asked. I would use her again.
Hilary was great with our dog, Finn, and our two cats, Milo and Otis. Every time we board Finn, we have trouble with him eating. We decided to give Rover a try so that Finn could stay in our home. It went better than expected. Hilary took Finn for lots of walks, hid his is treats like we do, and played with him. Hilary didn’t even mind that Finn woke her in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Hilary even turned the fish tank light on and off for us because I was having trouble getting it to work from my phone. We couldn’t be happier with Hilary’s services, and we definitely plan on booking Hilary the next time we have to go out of town.

What is a typical day for the dog? • Exercise routine, walking route, yard play? Potty Routine? How is the dog on walks? Any quirks or aggression? • How vocal is the dog outside? Inside? In the yard? What circumstances does the dog usually bark or whine? • Where is food kept? How much? How often? What treats are appropriate, and how many? • Crate trained? • Escape artist? Any yard info to make note of. • Does the dog enjoy play? What kind? Special toys? • Are there certain places the dog does not like to be scratched or loved on? • Is the dog ever anxious or fearful?
A typical day
I can be there to entertain, watch, and feed your dog(s), and most of all, make sure they are happy and healthy when you get back to them. Remember--when you're gone, it's three times as long in dog time. Throwing balls, playing tug of war, going for long walks--a tired dog is a happy dog. I can guarantee to make sure your dog is entertained and taken care of while you are gone. I'm not opposed to going to the dog park/horse farm, so if your dog is socialized that can be on the agenda as well!
