I love all dogs as if they’re mine
Pet care experience
After a brief hiatus, I am now accepting new customers again! I have cared for elderly dogs and new puppies alike. I treat ALL dogs like they’re family and meet them where they are. I give them my full attention: always throwing a ball, making a lick mat for them, or snuggling up with them on the couch. I’m an incredibly observant person; I’ll follow your instructions to a T!

Hila is wonderful! Very accommodating to my work schedule. Drop off and pick up was a breeze! My pups were very comfortable - day 2 they walked themselves into the house without a goodbye! Returned home with two happy, healthy and exhausted dogs! Definitely recommend and will absolutely contact again when in West Lafayette!
my puppy malibu loved hila. she was so sweet and communicative. sent me pictures over the weekend. was very flexible with pickup too!
Hila was awesome with Sitka! She has a great set up for boarding and is really easy to communicate with.

We have a large, unfenced yard here in West Lafayette. We are located in an established, quiet neighborhood. Our house is situated in a unique spot in that we only have 1 set of neighbors - and they even let us use their yard space when playing with the dogs! *Working dog breeds are subject to additional charges **Add a spa day to your pets stay for $20! Spa includes a bath, blow dry, nail trim, and face trim (if needed/wanted).

If your dog has not been properly socialized, my house will not be the best fit. This does not apply to puppies - they are young and they’re still learning! However - if your dog is an adult, 2-15 years old, and hasn’t been around many people and/or animals, I am not a good fit for your pup.
A typical day
We play all day long… well, until the puppies decide it’s nap time! We have (way too) many toys that the dogs play with. Balls, frisbees, bones, mental stimulation puzzles… what else could a dog ask for?! We do not give our dogs ANY rawhide; our toy baskets are rawhide free. We give sugar free peanut butter on a lick mat as a treat (the only ingredients in the peanut butter are peanuts and salt). Please let us know if you have any dietary requests/restrictions. We have melatonin on hand for any anxiety or stress that the dogs may endure (for storms, fireworks, etc.). We have crates and all of our dogs are crate trained.

I’m a full time graduate student at Purdue, but I actually have a fair amount of free time on my hands (and I could always use some more furry friends for study breaks!). My partner is a full time teacher, so it’s just me and our 4 dogs all day!
