I've helped take care of my family's Westie (Chip) since I was 12 and have also had a cat for a few years! I helped with feeding, walking and training our dog to sit and to come to heel on a walk. We had Chip on and off the leash and I have had a lot of experience of when there has been a slight altercation with other dogs. I was around to take care of Chip when he was an elderly dog with various health problems that needed attending to as well, for example putting eye drops in his eye. I have also been called on by friends to look after their pets when they are away on holiday. I enjoy the company of all animals with all temperaments (as long as any behavioural issues are mentioned in advance). If dropping into your house to look after your pet I would be very mindful of specific dietary requirements and any rules that are in place e.g. not having them on the couch. I am really excited to be offering this service as I currently can't afford to have a pet of my own!
