Hi there, Detroit-area dog owner! Here is my background: I recently moved to Bloomfield Hills for my girlfriend who is starting her own medical practice as an Allergist/Immunologist. For two years in Louisville, KY, I was was a nanny for Dr. Michael Doyle's family. Whenever they took the three kids on vacation, I would go over to the house to feed and walk Maddie and Angus, their German Shepard and black lab. I also dog and house sat in the same neighborhood for Julie Woolford. She required that I stay each night in the house with her pug, Frankie, and insisted on giving me large amounts of chocolate (true story). I also walked and fed my mother's dog, Becky, for four years. Every dog is different, with different needs, but if your dog(s) are a 1/4 the fun that they were, it's going to be great.
