I have owned dogs (and various other animals) all my life and have always had a love for them! As a child, I enjoyed the resposibilities of caring for our family dogs myself. When petsitting I tend to provide extra care and love for the dogs, because I understand it can be traumatic and sad for their loved ones to be away. I'll find myself giving the dogs extra long walks or staying to play with them well beyond the exceeded expectations of my client, I just can't resist those sad looks....I've even driven across town to be with one dog during a terrible storm, simply because I couldn't stand the thought of her being alone and scared. I promise to love your pet as if it is my own fur baby. I'll like to keep in contact while the owner is away, via text or calls, even sending the occasional cute pictures. I have experience with administering daily medications, even following a few complicated medication schedules. I also have experience with ailing dogs who need a little extra help.
