Pet care experience
Hi I'm Makana. I moved to Albuquerque from Hawaii with my 9 year old American Bulldog, Meeshka (who is now resting in doggy paradise) I have been caring for every kind of animal since the age of 11, along with volunteering at Albuquerque's largest "no kill" Organization Watermelon Mt. Ranch for over 1 year at the age of 16. I am flexible with my availability, and have dog sat, walked / run and checked in on many dogs and cats for the last 6 years. I have no fear and I am extremely comfortable of the "larger breed" dogs, and have only owned Pit Bulls and “bully’s”. I promise that if your pet is in my care I will show him or her endless love and care. There is nothing I would not do for your fur family member.

A typical day
For dogs I usually with give them activities on our walks (or at home drop-in) such as ropes, bones, tennis balls etc. If possible a dog park / little outdoor walks and trips that isn’t to hectic so no overstimulation happens depending on attitude of animal. Same goes for cats as well, just more cat type vibes!

I currently work full-time during the week, but the weekends are filled with taking care/ spending time with my animals or helping whoever needs my assistance.
