SCHEDULING Mondays & Thursdays: *Unavailable* from 2pm-5pm Otherwise, full availability! Years of experience caring for my own pets + a lifetime's experience getting overly-excited at every dog (read: animal in general) I see on a daily basis = me, your best friend's next best friend. To me, animals are >>> everything else; I'll show your sweet pupper the love they deserve through invigorating walks, playtime, dog sitting, and continuous praise (they're *such* a good boy/girl!). I understand how important your pet is to you and love embracing their unique personalities through photo updates of their latest adventures, sent to you in a timely fashion. My passion for animals and fun-loving, yet responsible disposition makes me your ultimate pet-care partner. Whether they're a senior dog who simply needs a couch companion, or a puppy who recently fell in love with their Chuck-It, I'm ready to meet their needs! IN YOUR HOME Drop-in Visits: Fresh water & feeding (if desired), treats if desired, play time, petting, mini walk or outside time for your dogs to get some exercise, energy release, and potty time! Will send photos & a text update with how they’re doing and the fun activities we did. Walks - Fresh water (& food if needed), plus a good job snack if you desire! Priority of time will be spent walking, providing them exercise and all the good smells they can get! Do they have a favorite park? Trail? Let me know and I’ll be sure to take them to their favorite places! Will send photos & a text update with how their walk went and if they had a successful potty break!

Helene is a natural when it comes to animals! You can tell as soon as you meet her that your pet will be in great hands. She is friendly, warm, and most importantly, great with dogs (and cats too!). I received photos and updates during all scheduled walks and she was kind enough to go out of her way for last-minute requests. I trust her fully with my fur child and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a caregiver.
Helene has been amazing taking care of my lovely Derrick whilst I’ve been super busy and overwhelmed. She is always on time, so friendly and kind, and ready to take Derrick on a much needed adventure. So grateful for her support, and literally wouldn’t trust anybody else with my best friend. Only downside: I think Derrick is more excited to see Helene than me these days.
Helene deeply cares about dogs and will make your dog feel right at home with her. She is friendly, kind, prompt, organized and devoted to her job. I highly recommend Helene!

I dedicate my time to them as much as possible; while they may not always have my full attention, I love sharing space with them and always being in the same room so they feel happy, included, and safe. A napping pet is a happy pet! :) Of course when they do demand more attention, it’s time to play and it gives me a break from work, which I’m always glad to be reminded to take. While in clients home I make sure especially to keep things cleaner than they were left, and offering as many potty breaks as the owner would like, especially if they do not have a yard.

Their response toward leaving/walking with new people, and if they have any anxiety issues: meeting someone new, passing dogs or humans while walking, etc. If they have any medical issues or allergies to be aware of. Any behavior to be aware of for walks, drop-ins or overnight stays. Any particular favorite things they have to make sure to incorporate! Or anything they dislike to make sure to avoid. Anything else about them or their personality that you find important to share.
A typical day
I am incredibly flexible based on their likes and needs. If there is something or somewhere particular that they love, I am more than happy to make it happen! If your dog is a fetch fan, I’m all about the chuck it. If they live a trail you take them to by the river, we’ll watch the water! Whatever they love, I want them to experience. It’s their time!

Availability
Pet care is a large part of my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I recently moved back to the USA and am currently freelancing remotely. The last time I freelanced, during the start of the pandemic, I walked dogs as a way to get myself outside, and it turned into a real passion. There is no work as fulfilling and joyful as one where you can spend your time with dogs!
