For the past two years I’ve spent 40 hours a week working in a shelter, learning everything I can about dog behavior, and positive play. I would love to host small groups of dogs in my home. This provides all the benefits of play, without the stress of over stimulation. While your dog is here I will provide hours of play and activities. Any dog who eats here, will be given a one hour break from play. I offer boarding in my home as well. I was asked if I allow dogs on furniture, that’s completely up to you. If you do not allow dogs on the furniture, then I will work with your dog, to keep off of furniture. As for sleeping arrangements your dog can have teenager to snuggle, a private room with a couch, or kennel to sleep in. Which ever you prefer. Dogs have been my passion my entire life, this is my journey from saving shelter dogs, to making happier pets.

Gus had an amazing time staying with Helena! I had to leave town for a few days and could not have entrusted my dog with a better person. From the moment I dropped Gus off, he had a scavenger hunt and other friendly puppies waiting to play. Helena administered his medication while I was a way and even kept Gus for an extra night on short notice and sent Gus home with extra pill pouches. It's clear that Helena boards dogs because she loves animals, she goes the extra mile. Helena is super fast with communication and sent plenty pictures of what Gus was up to while I was away. Gus was well exercised and partied out by the time I got home, I would definitely send him back!

Amazing! She was the best! She send daily pictures and updates and our dog seemed to have enjoyed himself greatly! He was so happy to go to Helena's after the meet and greet and had so much fun!
Helena garnered such an amazing rapport with our two dogs, a German Shepherd and a chihuahua. She cared for them so well, even when the little one got a little "protective". She understands dog behavior and creates an environment where the dogs are well-cared for and feel at home. All in all, a great person to leave your pups with.
