Pet care experience
Hi my name is Helena and thank you for considering me to look after your furbaby. Growing up my family always had animals in the house, at one point even three dogs and two cats all at the same time! (Imagine potty training 3 puppies at the same time...it was an experience.) I grew up loving and looking after animals, which I think is a blessing, animals are such an enrichment to day to day life I couldnt imagine ever coming home to an empty house. The first "jobs" I had that I can remember were taking care of family friends pets and I still get excited when I get to meet a new furry friend. I've cared for a large array of animals (including a "house pig" with attitude and two gentle but curious donkeys) and can pretty much handle anything(or critter) that comes my way! I am very flexiable and can work with any schedule, just tell me what you need! Any special instructions? You got it. Over energetic dogs? Lets play. Timid cats? I'll make sure they know there's fresh food and water waiting for them when they're ready. Decided to go out after work? I'll let your pooch out and give them dinner. Car troubles have you stuck far away? I can pop over for a visit. Is your trip home from vacation taking longer than expected? I'll help tire out your baby so you can both relax when you get home. I'm here to help your furry loved ones stay happy and comfortable. If your loved one isn't very furry, drop me a message and we can discuss your critter and their needs.

Information Helena A. would like to know about your pet
I am fine with any breed, growing up our family dog was a 170lb St. Bernard so gentle giants are no problem for me. A general note about your dog is always so appreciated! Do they normally gobble their food right up or do they nibble throughout the day? Do they have a favorite spot in their yard to do their buisness? Any special commands or phrases to use when asking them to sit? Anything you'd like to include to let me get to know them a little better. When pet sitting for friends and family I usually like to meet the critter before I'll be caring for them (especially if they're a timid one or on the larger side), however you know your pet better than anyone so if you know you dog falls in love with everyone they meet we can discus if I should meet them before hand (this would mainly apply to emergency situations where you need a sitter asap)
A typical day
A walk around the block is always fun for a dog no matter how many times they've done it, especially with someone new. If there is trails or parks new by we'll be sure to check them out on our strolls. Also I will always carry a clean plastic bowl and water bottle while on our walks in case either if us are thirsty.
