My son and I love dogs, as a single mom I just haven’t been able to commit to a dog full time. I’ve been watching my friends dogs for 5 years now as that’s when my sons love for dogs became an obsession. We are obviously interested in watching dogs that love children as my son wants to cuddle, play, walk and sleep with your fur child. We are in a house with a gated back yard. I also work from home a lot, so your dog will have lots of day time attention as well. So, if you have a child loving dog that wants a ton of attention and a cute snuggle buddy our house is a must. All dogs must be housebroken.

Helen and her son Cam went above and beyond watching Bueller! They took him on so many walks, played with him in the yard, and even let him lay out and soak up the sun— you could tell when we picked him up that he had a great weekend. Helen was great about sending updates (including photos and videos) and communicating with us about pick up and drop off. We would definitely recommend this family to anyone looking to drop their pup off for a playful weekend!
Helen was a great. We contacted her at the last minute and she was very accommodating. She cared for Bella and administered her medicine. She sent us pictures and videos every day.

Helen and her son took wonderful care of our two pups while we were away for a long weekend. She sent several photos and videos each day and kept me updated on day to day happenings. As an anxious pet parent, it was comforting to see what they were up to and know they were getting a lot of attention! One of my dogs has medical issues and dietary restrictions and she went above and beyond to monitor and communicate around this, etc. Our other dog is energetic and enjoyed lots of play time with her young son. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely book with Helen again!

All dogs must be fully house trained. Also, kid friendly and would prefer dogs that have minimal shedding. If there are any health issues or need to administer medicine just let me know ahead of time.
A typical day
Depending on the dog and it’s interests we can go to the dog park. My son loves to play fetch & frisbee with the dogs. Really, any form of exercise/ activities the dog is used to we can probably do.

I work from home so during the day I can do daily walks as needed. I do have to step out for meetings and lunches etc but am home most of the day. I also have a fenced in backyard if your dog is more of a sun bather. Most dogs sleep in my sons room at night (he likes that).
