Easter spot still available for one dog.

Pet care experience

I have had dogs since I was 15. I always want dogs around me. We have been on Rover for a year and a half and looked after dozens of dogs. In the past I have trained puppies and done agility training with my pets. Our home is quiet and loving with lots of beds and sofas. We only take two or less bookings at a time so there is always one person per dog. We have a garden office so dogs can be in the garden while I am writing.

Helen and Saint welcomed our fur babies into their home, I had felt quite anxious as this was the first time Pippa and Willow had stayed with a pet sitter. I was pleased to receive regular updates and pictures which showed how relaxed and happy both dogs were, this put our mind at rest so we were able to enjoy our holiday. I would be happy to recommend Helen to friend and family or anyone looking for a pet sitter.

Saint and Helen were great looking after Maggie. We got updates throughout her stay and they took the time to arrange a meet and greet beforehand which was really reassuring. Would not hesitate to recommend them 😊

Murphys 3rd time with Helen and we have two more booked in this year. He loves coming here and is always tired when we pick him up from all the fun he's had!

Safety, trust & environment

We are in a tarraced house with a garden. We have secure gates and fencing. You are welcome to come and view the garden to check your pet is fully secure. At night your pet can sleep downstairs or with us whichever you prefer. They will be treated like one of the family. If you have any concerns about your dogs safety on a walk you are welcome to go for a walk with us and point out any possible behaviours that could occur. I.e. what we should do when encountering another dog.

Information Helen S. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know what your pets needs are. For example; lots of tummy rubs, a game of fetch, a walk and then a sleep. Do you give treats or not? What words do they understand? Your pet is a paying guest so their needs are paramount.

A typical day

We like to hang out at home or go to the local park or mousehold heath. It has a dog friendly cafe open all year with lots of dogs and owners for stimulation. We tend to take whoever we are looking after with us. So if I go to a coffee morning then they come with me

There is always someone home as I am a retired therapust from the NHS. My partner is a mature student at UEA. She is studying literature. We mosty have just one or two dogs at a time so we can give lots of attention to your dog. Our house fa's kits of space and roons with a big garden, so even if your dog is active to other dogs we can still keep them separate AND have one if us with them.
