Pet care experience
Hello! I'm just another girl who needs more paws-itivity in her life. I have two Shiba Inu’s who are crate trained so can co-exist with any other animal in the house. Looking to satisfy my lack of paw-some time and help those who need a watchful eye on their furry little friends. I work remotely (Project Management for a Biotech) from the South Bay, but am willing to travel to surrounding areas. My schedule is pretty flexible aside from meetings, so I appreciate an early heads up for any requests during the regular work week days and hours. I grew up with dogs and have always had dogs, with size ranging from Chihuahuas to Pit Bulls and energy ranging from Golden Retrievers to Huskies. I enjoy running and hiking, so definitely can be active with your pets. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry child(ren)!

Helen was able to walk Bento on short notice. She was very detailed and made sure Bento got a nice walk.
Helen did an awesome job! Treated my cats like family, even though they didn't want to come out of hiding much for her. Her rate was just perfect and she kept in great communication while we were gone. We will definitely use her again!

I have a lot of space in my home so your pup can hang out comfortably. Prefer pets to be crate trained as I have shiba inus in the house as well. But no worries if not as there’s ample space to separate everyone if needed. The neighborhood is great for walks. I also have a backyard to play with your dog off leash. The fence is a bit short so if your dog is large and tends to jump over fences, please let me know so we don’t go off leash.

I will need to know some information prior to boarding to set expectations appropriately: size, energy level, any special quirks (such as bad recall, tendency to escape, does not get along with humans or dogs, get sick during car rides, limited activity)
A typical day
I am an active person so can take your dog out on long walks or hikes. I also have puzzle games and toys at home to keep them mentally stimulated. I have two energetic shiba inu pups who love to play if your dog is willing to socialize with them.

Availability
I work remotely so am flexible! If you need support with house sitting, I will ask for your wifi so I can work while fulfilling my Rover duties. A flexible schedule enables me to be attentive to the fur babies, I.e. plenty of time for potty breaks, training, belly rubs.
