We currently have 2 fur babies who range from 110-145lbs! Our home is a multi-level with hardwood downstairs, but we keep them from going up stairs as we don't want the hair mixing with the carpet. Our backyard is fenced and just under a half acre. We usually don't allow them to sleep outside of the crate and would prefer them to be crate trained and definitely house broken. We have a large sized crate the Dane grew out of (and is cleaned each time it is used), so no need to worry about bringing that, just something to sleep with that has your scent on it!
