Pet care experience
Experience with handling dogs, cats, horses and chickens! Let me help you and your furry family member(s). Able to handle pet sitting, walking, playing and feedings at very flexible times. I’m very accessible and responsive. Every pet is unique and has their own needs whether that’s food restriction or more time due to heightened anxiety. I have experience with senior pets too and am able to administer medications or specialized care at your request. As my hours are flexible, I’m here to make things work for you. Thank you for reading, looking forward to working with you and your non-human family member(s) soon! Also capable of caring for other small mammals and reptiles (ferrets, chinchillas, snakes, lizards, etc.) I will respond within several hours of a request. Give me a try. You will not be disappointed 🤗
Reviews
Helen was a pleasure to have in our home and care for our Pup. She went above and beyond. She exceeded our expectations and I felt very comfortable having her in our home. Thank you for everything Helen!
I’m so thankful I found Helen!!! It’s such an added stress to have to leave your fur babies for extended periods of time. My ideal situation was to find someone to either stay at our home or just be able to visit for hours at a time when we’re away. When we first did our meet and greet, they took to Helen immediately. Huge plus! The exchange of energy was perfect. She’s so communicative and gives me peace of mind letting me know the babies are being cared for and loved. Needless to say, she’s super reliable, and very easy to work with. Our “Go To” now too!
Helen takes such great care of our senior girl! We’re so happy we found her on Rover! Thanks again, Helen! 🤗
Helen is an amazing dog sitter! Great updates, communicator, pictures! Thank you so much!

Safety, trust & environment
My pets are free to roam at home, they come and go as they please with our doggie door (which our cat also knows how to use). There is an invisible fence that our dog will not pass so we know she’s safe. All and all we give them the most freedom with safety in mind, so they can be comfortable indoors OR outdoors. We do lock them in at night for safety purposes. As for your pet, this is a case by case basis. Willing to crate if necessary or whatever else your pet may require and is used to doing with you.
Information Helen D. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences! I just need to know how your pet works. Do they need more time acclimating due to anxiety? What are some of their triggers? What are things they can and cannot handle? I.e. loud noises, cars, etc.
A typical day
Willing to go on local roads for simple walks or hiking/walking trails if that’s your speed. I love hiking! I willl inspect for and get rid of hitchhikers no problem (ticks). Car rides are also an option if you’re okay with that. If dog rides are something you would like, ensure that your dog has a chest harness of appropriate size and they can be clipped right in and go for a joyride!

I have a rotating schedule, meaning availability changes week to week but I plan ahead and can move things around to accommodate a schedule that can work better for you and your animal family.
