Pet care experience
I've taken care of family dogs since I was 11. I've walked, fed and bathed family pets for the past 14 years and have dog sat for neighbours when needed. Most of my experience is with smaller or medium dogs (though with lots of energy!). I have helped with toilet training younger puppies and dogs and basic command training (e.g. Sit, stay, come) using treats and positive reinforcement.

I have experience keeping pets to certain areas in a house. I offer lots of affection and positive reinforcements. I have looked after pets that sleep in the kitchen and those that need to be in the same room overnight to reduce separation anxiety and am happy to do either.

Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements so that I can prepare for these. Though I do not have experience administering medication, I am happy to do this once demonstrated and if you are comfortable.
A typical day
I am less than a five minute walk from Bute Park and love walks along the river, which I would love to bring your pup on. There are plenty of routes around this area that I enjoy exploring and open spaces for them to have a good run around!

I'm currently studying for my Masters degree in museum Conservation. My teaching hours are minimal with lots of time for self study and therefore lots of time for looking after pups!
