Pet care experience
I've had lots of experience with family dogs and raising puppies including my own (Douglas) who is now nearly 2. Douglas has certain anxieties which we have worked through including separation anxiety so I specialise in more nervous dogs and can help them feel comfortable and confident in many different situations. I am currently training to gain my IMDT qualification so can offer help with training, or just give plenty of playtime, love and cuddles.

Helen was great with my dog Trix during her first stay away. Trix was settled well and Helen made a point if giving her cuddles and making her feel at ease. She kept me updated with lots of pictures which was reassuring. Thanks so much, would definately recommend and use Helen again 😊

We have a puppy proofed home including a small fully enclosed garden. We have plenty of toys, treats and puzzle games to keep dogs happy and occupied, plus plenty of sofa and bed space for snoozing. We also have a large dog crate in case your dog prefers and cosy enclosed space to relax. I can offer 2 to 3 walks a day in the nearby parks or on Hove beach depending on your schedule so you can be sure your dog's physical and mental needs with be met.

What is their general walking/feeding/sleeping schedule? Do they have any specific dietary requirements or allergies? Do they get along with other dogs or have any fears when out and about? Are they allowed treats, if so would you prefer to provide these or are you happy for me to provide them? Do they have a favourite type of toy? Are you happy for me to let the off the lead or would you prefer on lead sniffy walks?
A typical day
We love walking and playing ball along the beach or in the nearby enclosed park. Douglas loves to run and play so if you are keen for your dog to release some energy we can certainly do that! I'm also an advocate for mental stimulation with brain games, puzzles and fun training. I full acknowledge the need for down time and naps throughout the day as well so will make sure your dog has enough peace and quiet in a comfortable spot to allow that. I will make sure all your dogs needs are met and cater to anything more specific as well.

Availability
I'm available mostly for day care and walks during the week. I also offer overnight boarding after a couple of trial runs of day care to gain your dogs trust and make sure they feel settled before staying for an overnight.
