I am a gentle and loving human. I think dogs have a very good sense about those kinds of things. I've heard many versions of, "wow, my dog doesn't like anyone/is scared of everyone; but they really likes you". I will care for your animals as if they were my own and ensure their safety at all times. I've cared for dogs since I was 9. Whenever my friend's family would leave town they interested me with the care of their mixed breed German Shepard. Professionally, I have cared for dogs as long as three months straight - staying in their homes, so I can house sit as well. If you are in training you can let me know what you're working on and we can practice while you're away.

Heidie is well loved by my moody miniature English bulldog. She takes great care of him and I get updates throughout his stay. I know he likes Heidie a lot because when I dropped him off for a second time he went right into her place and didn’t even look back at me. She’s clearly a dog whisperer because I get no updates with any issues with him. It’s a relief to have her when I go out of town.
Heidie was great with Kono! They went on walks together, did yoga together, and he snuggled with her at night. She sent me pictures of him every day, which I appreciated. I'd definitely call her next time I need a sitter!
Heidi was great with Tank! Very caring with the pup and communicative with coordinating pick up/drop off. We will hopefully see her again soon!

At home I do have a balcony which is great for sunbathing and fresh air but I never leave animals unattended out there, including my own. If you have outdoor space in your home, I wouldn't like to keep them outside unattended either, unless you specify to do so.

I am happy to accommodate any attributes your dog may have, the most important thing for me to know is if they are reactionary to other pets or people, so I know what to expect during our walks. (Like if I need to cross the street if another dog is headed our way, for example). I know dogs all have different personalities which make them very special!
A typical day
I live in a great neighborhood for walks and there's a park with a dog run less than 2 blocks away. I also like going to Malibu for small hikes if your pup is into that kind of thing. Being near the beach is nice as well for getting a little sea air during our walks!
