Pet care experience
I have been a life-long pet owner of cats, dogs, bunnies, and the odd fish or two. I currently just have a cat, but frequently dog-sit for my neighbors whenever given the opportunity. I have experience with small and medium dogs, as well as cat experience. I am also an artist and will gladly do a portrait of your pet if you'd like!

Heidi has watched our animals (dog and cat) on multiple occasions, both for drop-in visits and overnights. She is incredibly attentive and great about keeping us updated by sending us pictures and videos while we're away. Our very anxious and grumpy kitty has even warmed up enough to let Heidi sneak in some pets! I always know our animals safe and loved when we leave them with Heidi!

At this time I am not sure if I can care for your pet at home. My cat is not particularly friendly towards other animals. I have experience with pet-sitting dogs & cats at another's home. I am very respectful of their space, careful to replenish food and water appropriate to each animal, as well as cleaning the litterbox if requested.

It would be good to know if the dog has any particular no-pet areas (such as a sensitivity to their ears or paws, etc). Also good to know is if they have any special needs, whether or not you are comfortable with their being off-leash in off-leash designated parks, and if your dog plays well with others!
A typical day
If I am walking your dog in my neighborhood, a favorite park to visit is Sewallcrest as it is dog-friendly and has plenty of space for a dog to get out some energy!

Availability
Because I work from home full-time, my schedule allows for flexibility through-out the day. I work a creative job that requires many breaks for brainstorming, which gives the perfect opportunity to take 30 minutes or an hour to care for your pet!
