I have a really flexible life/work schedule + have been casually dog-sitting for friends during the week + on the weekends for the past few months. I'll be spending my winter living in the Denver Metro area + would love to get my dog/cat fix by helping your enjoy your vacation time [or not-as-fun work travel] without any worries about your pet back home. All pet-sitting will need to happen in your own home as I do not have a pet friendly place; however, I've found this to be far less stressful on the pets so I consider this to be a good thing. I am able to travel to your place to check in on your pet + walk/run/hike with your dog or I can stay at your place while you're gone -- whichever works best for you. I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin + have had pets in my life for as long as I can remember. I love animals + do not have a problem with the less glamorous side of caring for them. I'll admit, I'm a cat person...but I still really enjoy the time I spend with well trained dogs. I especially enjoy caring for dogs that like to get outside to run + adventure. I'm a trail runner, so if you have a high energy dog that behaves well on trails [+ on leash!] I'm your girl.
