Pet care experience
I have cared for animals my entire life! I am obsessed with animals and I promise, I'll fall in love immediately 😅 I love dogs of all ages and sizes. I love cats and love ANY opportunity to pet or play with them as my husband won't let me get one of my own lol I have my own dog, her name is Eloise and she is a yorkie-pomerianian mix. She's not used to other dogs, so when I house-sit, she stays home with my husband. My goal when I house-sit is to help your pet feel as close to normal as possible! Let me know your usual routine and I'll try to mimic it as closely as I can.

This was my first time having Heidi as a sitter and she was awesome! She took great care of both of my dogs and kept me updated.

If I am staying in your home, I will respect any house rules you have set. I will keep your pets regular routine, feeding them exactly as you do and at the same time you do. Let me know their command words/gestures as well so i can communicate properly with them! If I am walking your dog, I'll be sure to go on your regular route if you have one. I always have waste bags with me! There is no dog too big or too small! Again, please be aware that I may have to leave for scheduled drop in visits. If you have questions about this, just ask!

What is your typical schedule? Does your dog do okay on walks if they see other dogs/people? Is your dog anxious? Scared around new people? Do they jump? Any dietary restrictions?
A typical day
If I were house sitting for you through the week, I will go to work. So a typical weekday would be me waking up and taking the dog(s) out! Making sure every animal is cared for as per your instructions. My priority in the morning would be to get the animals cared for before I begin getting ready for work. I go to work at 7:30 am and I'm usually off around 2:30 pm. If I don't have other drop ins scheduled, I'll come "home" and be home for the evening. If I do have drop ins, I typically work a "home stop" in so that I can be sure the animals I am sitting for have gone out mid-day. I won't leave anyone hanging! I would come "home" and let the animals out! I typically try to eat something around this time, so I would most likely do that and then maybe relax a bit before going for an evening walk. I would then play with your pup! I love to play tug of war, fetch and hide and seek with my own dog! I also love to snuggle and give pet massages. I am very good with dogs who have anxiety. I am patient with animals and I genuinely love them. I will be extra careful with your babies and treat them how I would want someone to treat my Eloise!

Availability
I work as a surgical dental assistant at Avon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Usually, I am off work by about 3:30. Sometimes earlier, sometimes later, but rarely past 4. I have time in the evenings throughout the week to do drop ins and I am available to house sit here and there. If you're not sure of my availability, just send me a message 😊 Please be aware that I serve several clients on a regularly scheduled basis. If I am house sitting, I will probably have drop in visits booked as well. If this is an issue, please let me know and we can discuss it! I will ALWAYS make sure your pet is cared for like I would want my own cared for.
