Step out our front door and you're in the park! I am a stay-at-home mom with a passion for dogs and a commitment to turn this love into a profession. I operate a neighbourhood dog-walking service called Mutts. (Check us out at: Facebook.com/muttsottawa) When I'm not with dog-walking clients, my days are spent at home with my four year old daughter and six year old mutt, Penny. Our townhouse is located in Old Ottawa South and includes lots of green space. Our front door faces a bike path, rather than a road so traffic is of no concern here. We are a two minute walk from Windsor Park's designated dog area and we would love to have another wagging tail to join us.

Our little dog Sammy spent three days at Heidi's place. It seems like he fit right in with family life at Heidi's place, and got along well with Heidi's dog. We appreciated email updates and pictures that we received from Heidi. She made sure our old boy Sammy received his medication daily, was attentive to his needs, and was taken on his walks. Thanks Heidi!
Our dog Gaston had a fantastic vacay with Heidi. She sent us lots of pictures and updates which we really appreciated. We would definitely recommend her!

Heidi was awesome in looking after our 2 pups. They loved being at her home and were very well looked after and enjoyed the company of her pup too. Heidi was great in keeping their routines with dog walks and meal times. I will be sending my pups again for vacay!!

I have always felt a strong need to have a dog in my life and was fortunate enough to grow up with a feisty Terrier-mix. After leaving home for University I filled my dog void by walking a variety of breeds for the Vancouver SPCA and then the Ottawa Humane Society. Now that I am settled in Ottawa I have enjoyed my Border Collie mix, Penny, for the last 6 years. She has enjoyed the fact that I am at home to keep her company and that I enjoy an active lifestyle with lots of walks and runs. I have recently completed my Pet First Aid certification from St. John's Ambulance.
