Calm, Consistent & Professional WFH
Pet care experience
A pet caretaker since childhood and a Rover sitter since 2016, I have a calm, caring and consistent manner that most dogs love and appreciate. I was trained as a Pet Pal volunteer at Mountain Humane (animal shelter), where I worked with dogs to teach them traits to make them more adoptable. I'm also happy to work with you to use your own commands and preferences for pet rearing. I work from my home office during weekdays and am available for regular snuggles, potty breaks and walks. My boyfriend and I are also avid weekend hikers/snowshoers/nordic skiers. We don't have any pets of our own (nor tiny humans) so our furry guests quickly become family members that get to soak up our undivided attention and adoration. No matter how long a pup (or kitty) stays, we're always sad to see them go. CATS: After losing our beloved cat of 17 years in April 2020, we are now accepting cats for boarding. We look forward to many more kitty purrs and snuggles!
Reviews
Rangers second time with Heidi. All good and would definitely book again . Thanks Heidi
Duke loves when we go to SV, he know he’s going to Heidi’s place!!! She always takes great care of Duke!!
Heidi was amazing, couldn’t have asked for a better boarding situation
Heidi is a god send. I never have to worry about my pup when he is with her. She is very responsive and always sends photos before I even ask.

SAFETY, TRUST & ENVIRONMENT: A safe and comfortable environment is always top-of-mind in our home. Your kids are also our family! We have a small fenced yard and baby gates available for use throughout the home. We also have multiple crates of varying sizes that can be used if appropriate. Senior dogs are common, and we're prepared to make extra home adjustments to accommodate their special needs. Same goes for puppies and exuberant teenagers.

Information Heidi F. would like to know about your pet
My usual questions: Pick-up/drop-off time? How are they with other dogs/cats? How do they react when they see another dog on the street? How are they on/off leash? Where do they normally sleep at night? Any special dietary or medical needs?
A typical day
I try to get out for two to three walks or hikes daily around my neighborhood, with at least one walk >30 minutes (depending on the dog's size and energy level). I'm near several neighborhood parks and the local Toe of the Hill Trail in Hailey/Woodside. On weekends and summer evenings, the dogs and I usually make it out for at least one bigger hike, run, snowshoe, ski, etc.

SCHEDULE: I have a work-from-home office job with part-time hours Monday - Thursday. My partner (who is also self-employed/WFH) and I have lots of time for snuggles and exercise in between our flexible schedules. SCHEDULE DISCLAIMERS: I'm unable to accept weekly recurring daycare requests and I'm unable to accept same-day requests from new clients. Thanks for understanding!
